Not bad at all very scary enjoyable horror sequel thrill ride psycho III is a great sequel follows right up after the previous psycho film psycho II norman bates still has the coprse of mrs. spool now mrs. spool has gone missing which the town has been worried since a few years after the second film norman bates is back and now a directorial debut by anthony perkins the films starts out with a troubled nun played by diana scarwid who accidentally kills a nun and meets dwayne duke played by jeff fahey which maureen leaves his truck then walks to the diner which norman bates meets her at the diner then he sees mc on her briefcase which had brought back memories of marion crane and shows once again the classic black and white shower scene then once again norman bates meets her and saves her life while that happens killings start to happen once again which no one knows exactly but again bates blames on his mother then after all of the killings a reporter from los angeles tries interviewing bates but he tries to ignore it all then more killings occur the police dont know it is but this is a great horror sequel follow up to psycho II and a great horror hidden gem of the 80's when the film had opened on the fourth of july holiday weekend of 1986 the film opened at #8 even though it was beat by karate kid II psycho III beat the great mouse detective about last night and big trouble in little china all came out the same weekend highly recommended for any horror fan.
