Review of Psycho (2007) by Noah W — 04 Nov 2012
This has got to be the oldest movie I have ever seen, but for 1960, this was pretty good. I liked Alfred Hitchcock's directing. It was very well compositioned and well framed. It also gave us this sense of fear in the movie. I also loved the music, it was very creepy and cool. The story was good but some of the acting was poor. Some parts seemed like the actors were just cold reading the script. Also the editing is so choppy in parts that its hard to sit through a few scenes. Otherwise, this was a very weird but very good movie.
NOTE.
Usually in old movies like this, there are many opening credits that drag on for about 10 minutes, but in this movie they only took 2 minutes to show them all, and it was a pregty good amount of credits. So I was happy to see that and hope I see it more often in old movies now.
8.3/10.
