Review of Psycho (2007) by Sumit S — 07 Nov 2012
One of the greatest achievements in horror & suspense genre, Psycho is Sir Alfred Hitchcock's most accomplished film overall. With its tense atmosphere, tight plot, genius direction, superb camerawork, tight editing & brilliant performances from the cast, esp.
by Anthony Perkins and last but not the least, the show-stealing score by Bernard Hermann who brought absolute terror with his composition to an already very tense film. Exceptional work all around, Psycho is the reason why modern horror exists in the first place.
