Psycho is a magnificent and impressive movie from the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock some people call it a Horror film others call it a Psychological thriller but for me its a Psychological Horror Thriller.

Psycho is about a woman name Marion Crane who is bored with her whole life and job at the same time. One day she was given 40, 000 dollars in cash to be deposited in the bank and instead of depositing it she steals it and starts a new life by leaving her hometown and she later on stops in a motel owned by a nervous, shy but kind owner name Norman Bates who lives in the house with his mother only and after Marion Crane dies later on.

Marion's sister Lila and Marion's boyfriend Sam soon starts to investigate Marion's disappearance and they also soon learn the truth about Norman Bates and his mother. I seriously love this film and to be honest it is such a classic.

The film itself is scary and creepy at the same time and the movie has some nice goodies that can impress a lot of Horror fans and suspense fans as well and Director Alfred Hitchcock managed to make Joseph Stefano's screenplay come to life.

What's great about Psycho is that the whole film has a lot of tones that are interesting and fascinating. The tone of the film is all about greed, psychological behavior and crime at the same time and thanks to Alfred Hitchcock and Joseph Stefano they managed to create a movie that shares a lot of fantastic moments in cinema history.

What I also like about Psycho is that the movie also has a lot of impressive settings, atmosphere and suspense and tension at the same time. The Bates Motel looks fantastic and I love how it looks like in the movie and I also like the Bates mansion and it totally looks so damn creepy and isolated and it makes the movie look good a lot.

The atmosphere was fantastic in this movie and I just love the way this film managed to handle the atmosphere in the whole movie. Plus the suspense scenes are totally nail biting and suspenceful at the same time and there are lots of suspenceful scenes in the movie and every single piece of tension is effective at the same time and this includes the infamous shower kill scene which is one of the most memorable moments in the film and the staircase kill scene is one of the most suspenceful scenes in the whole movie and there are also a couple of memorable scenes in the film like the peep hole scene and the Norman Bates having a conversation with Mother.

Plus I love inside of the house a lot and the basement scene is one of the most atmospheric parts of the movie and the mother bedroom looks magnificent and I overall love the ideas of this film a lot.

The last things I like about Psycho is that the movie also has a lot of stunning camera work and the camera shots and angles in the movie looks fantastic and most of the camera movements are excellent and I love how Alfred Hitchcock managed to do something much more different in the movies a lot and I was surprised with all of the ideas of Alfred Hitchcock.

Now the acting is great the casts did a magnificent job with their work in the movie and they're performances is so unforgettable. Anthony Perkins delivers one of the creepiest and most memorable performances in the whole movie as Norman Bates even in the Psycho sequels he managed to nail his performance really well.

Janet Leigh did an impressive job with her performance in the film as Marion Crane and she looks so gorgeous and pretty at the same time. Vera Miles did an excellent job with her work in the film as Lila Crane and she's cute and quite pretty at the same time and her role in the first Psycho is so different when comparing her role in the first sequel where she's antagonistic and acts as the main antagonist in Psycho II while the rest of the casts did an excellent job with their work in the film.

Director Alfred Hitchcock created a strong and stunning movie that is considered to be one of the most memorable movies in cinema history its too bad he died after making a couple more movies but I will never forget his work in Psycho.

Overall Psycho gets a 10/10 because this is considered to be one of the greatest movies in cinema history such a timeless classic back in the 60's.
