Subtle and maybe a little slow developing, this film is still a classic. The shower scence may be over-played and widely recognized, but what is great about this film is the disturbing ending that leaves you with a sweet and sour taste in your mouth.
This film still inspires modern entertainment today. Check out South Park "City Sushi.".
