Some visually beautiful moments, but it feels hollow, forced, and too disconnected from the original ballet. Clara is a typical Mary Sue who is perfect and amazing at everything, and most all the other characters are passive and/or undeveloped.
Just watch the classic ballet, which has way way more magic and heart than this movie.
