Review of Psycho (2007) by Stephen Z — 04 Nov 2015
Hitchcock isn't known as the Master of Suspense for nothing. Psycho is a classic horror movie, and one of my personal favorite horror movies. This movie fools you into thinking it's just another 60's movie, and then it flips you on your side.
The character of Norman Bates is one of the most interesting villains in horror history, alongside Hannibal Lector and Buffalo Bill from TSotL. It is suspenseful, incredibly well-acted, and has great scares.
The ending is iconic, even though the scene before the final scene is a little too revealing. Overall, the movie is iconic for a reason. 9.5/10.
