Though the story it tells is interesting, the plot of "American Hustle" is extraneous because you will be too captivated by the amazing performances of its five, incredibly talented stars: Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jeremy Renner.
"American Hustle" is smart, sexy, and bold, and easily David O. Russell's best film to date.
