While most people know it's secrets today, Psycho is a great and horrifying film with strong performances, especially from Anthony Perkins, genuine suspense and shocks, a creepy and unsettling atmosphere, brilliant cinematography, fine pacing, sharp editing, an iconic and frightening score, and masterful direction from the always wonderful Alfred Hitchcock.
