Review of Prozac Nation (2003) by Angie J — 10 Apr 2008
This is the most "real" movie I've seen in ages. The cause and effect format is perfectly done: we hear the internal conflict through the narration of the protagonist and the ramifications caused by this conflict.
It's definitely interesting to see the different relationships develop and, ultimately, shatter as a result of the main character's depression. Christina Ricci gives a brilliant performance and the film couldn't have been better made.
