Review of Prozac Nation (2003) by Sam W — 30 Jul 2012
An interesting, honest depiction of depression, free from sappy speeches and bumper sticker philosophies. Perhaps it could be a bit grittier, but then again, it's about a young woman's sudden confrontation with a dull, growing pain, not someone at the end of her rope, so its subdued tone is appropriate.
Not essential viewing, but worth watching on a rainy day.
