Review of Proof (1980) by Star Z — 24 May 2008
A decent film overall. A little over contrived in areas but at the same time a fairly interesting film that is mainly a character study about human vulnerability and human brilliance. While Gwyneth Paltrow and Hope Davis are both good in their respective roles, Jake Gyllenhaal and Anthony Hopkins give standout performances.
