Review of Ali (2001) by Star Z — 20 Feb 2008
This film totally sucked! If you wanna see the real Ali, or a great film about Ali...watch the film 'When We Were Kings'. It's easily one of the best documentry films ever made. This film however is easily one of the worst true life stories that could possibly be made.
The story just jumps all over the place and doesn't seem to focus on any of the more important and impactful parts of Ali's life. Those parts are totally rushed over. The film only seems to want to portray the fact that he liked women and could often be an a**hole to them.
The film is biased, pointless and totally misguided.
