Review of Promised Land (2012) by Andy L — 09 Jan 2013
Great acting my damen and kransinki. The plot was different then what you normally see bigtime movies deal with. And I like the idea of the big time company man realizing the error in his ways but in this instance I think they could have done a but more character professing on damen's character.
He had that epiphany too late and too suddenly at the end of the movie. I like that he played a relentless dick hell bent on his way being the only way and the. All the sudden SPOILER ALERT when krasinki's character turns out to work for the same company all the sudden his entire view of the natural gas predicament changes? Nah.
Nothing happened that would justifiably change his overall opinion on the situation. This making his change unrealistic. Even if it was expected. Overall though I did enjoy the movie and John krasinki definitly plays his best part.
