Review of Promised Land (2012) by Anna C — 02 Apr 2013
Matt Damon chose the subject and asked his friend Van Sant for directing it. So this is not a typical Van Sant movie; anyway the directing is perfect, but Van Sant style doesn't fit with the story and the result is quite boring unfortunately, because the subject is very strong and actual.
Matt Damon should have chosen a different screenwriter, different director and different costar, just to beginning! So I'm not satisfied at all.
