Review of Promised Land (2012) by Thomas W — 27 Apr 2013
It was very enjoyable with a well constructed film and story. The acting is well done, as it usually is with Damon and Krasinski; And Krasinski does a very good job in providing a personality that is very likable and only to turn it around in the end with a slap in the face.
The story does a good job in creating a background that makes Damon look like the bad guy, but you still have an urge to cheer for him. The story is very well done and planned out and has you thinking one way with the selling of the town on the fracking idea for natural gas, and it is flipped to the craziness of the corporation.
