2: Films about these parts of society are rare, but failed attempts at morality tales are not. This is somewhere in between a success and a failure. If not for Damon and a few others in the cast it would have fell flat.
As it stands, it is somewhat effective even if it ultimately doesn't quite know what it wants to say. The real message somewhat eludes us in the end.
