Review of Prom Night in Mississippi (2009) by Jacob R — 24 Jul 2009

I felt the film had some very interesting testimonials and was well-assembled, but suffered from an unsatisfying, drawn out climax. I know it's not the filmmakers fault when nothing dramatic happens in the final minutes, but they could have trimmed some fat.

Also, I caught the film on its HBO premiere, a year after the events of the film. A post-script following up on whether there was another "white prom" would have added a lot.
