If you're expecting this to be a cute vanilla backstory about Wonder Woman, watch something else. This is really about the lives of the people who inspired her creation. And it is a fascinating story- representing, in my opinion, truth and the many layers of love in all its beauty and chaos. Love does hurt sometimes and they chose to live honestly to themselves; I admire their courage.
Glad they turned this into a film. Bold and different.
