Review of Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous (2008) by Michael B — 06 Feb 2010
Jessica Simpson is about as clunky as they come as an actress, but that said, Beyonce's performance in 'Obsessed' is not really leaps and bounds above this. This movie is kind of everything that is wrong with Hollywood, but in it's defense, it's not the terrible disaster zone that you'd imagine it to be.
Sterotyped? Yes. Cheesy? Definitely. But the script isn't a total deadzone, this is not on the "Disaster Movie" scale of god-awfulness, nor even the 'Catwoman' region of it. Infact, it's probably up there with the likes of a large percentage of teenage flicks, and definitely exceeds basically every Hilary Duff movie ever made.
