I grew up in WA where stations didn't cary Stern until after this movie came out. His appearances on Letterman, the E! show, and this film were all we had, (and the books). I saw this in theaters with my Mom when I was 17.
We both liked it but this was before I really became a Stern fan. It made me uncomfortable, to be honest with you, probably because I was with my Mom. Awesome story, changed my life :).
