Review of Private Parts (1997) by Spencer S — 02 Nov 2012
True to form, it's quite a raunchy film, but Howard has a good heart and it shines throughout the film. I really enjoyed learning about the life of this neurotic, hypersexual radio host, and the detail that he goes into his personal life (both in the film and how things actually happened at the time) is remarkable and I couldn't believe how long his wife stuck it out.
It's a pretty simple proposition: if you enjoyed Stern's radio show, you'll enjoy this film. Otherwise, maybe you're the people who hate him so much you (as the film indicates) watch his show all the way through.
In that case, you definitely should see this film.
