Review of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) by Greg P — 11 Dec 2011

Prince Of Persia is an exciting action-fest. There are so many amazing stunts in this movie and really cool chase and battle scenes with lots of jumping and running on walls. There are some really cool visual effects too like when they use the dagger.

Ben Kingsley is great as usual in his role and I liked Jake Gyllenhaal here. I really liked Gemma Arterton in this movie. She looks gorgeous and I am finding her to be more talented each movie I see her in.

Alfred Molina is pretty good in his comic relief role also, but sometimes it doesn't seem necessary. There are some really beautiful settings in this movie with the cities and the deserts. The story here isn't anything too noteworthy but it does it's job moving the movie along and we get a pretty good video game adaptation.
