Here's the story: God (evil) puts his son Satan (also evil and a gob of green goo) in a cannister and then buries the cannister in the Middle East. Then God gets banished to the Dark Side. Jesus (good ET) tries to warn us, but gets killed.

Secret Catholic society is formed to keep the secret of both the cannister and Christ's true identity until technology is sufficient enough. Light from a supernova finally arrives to Earth after seven million years (when Satan was first buried) and the green goo awakens.

Scientists are summoned to study the Satanic substance and prove to the world that there is a real threat. However, Satan escapes and almost succeeds in releasing his father, God, from the Dark Side. However, maybe he did succeed after all?
