Review of Prince of Darkness (1987) by Rodney E — 09 Oct 2008

I once dated a Greek Orthodox who refused to rent this because it was "about the prince of darkness" but after many trips to the video store and only seeing bits of this as a kid, we finally watched it onetime. I really dug it as it is creepily effective. She says that she didn't like it but I think that was just to spite me and something that she wouldnt admit anyways. The plot is a little wacky and it is something about a group of scientists who uncover a liquid form of Satan in a vile. Alice Cooper leads a bunch of homeless weirdos who frequent outside the building.

The future broadcast scenes are really cool. Carpenter is a true master of horror and suspense.
