Review of Primer (2004) by Brent K — 30 Apr 2012
A crazy sci-fi thriller that twists the mind of the viewer to the point that he/she needs to watch it at least three times before even getting a grasp on the concept. There are two main characters, but they end up being multiplied throughout the space-time continuum of the film, which leaves us with the question of exactly which character is which, and what the exact agendas are of each variation.
There are a few anomalies which Carruth put into place just to make us even more confused, which is a brilliant touch to the experience.
