Review of Primer (2004) by Minh V — 27 Apr 2013
The ending left me confused, but the journey to get there is an exhilarating trek through the lives of two garage tinkerers who are attempting to reach some kind of technological grandeur. The conversations are very technical and raw--my rudimentary theoretical physics knowledge (thank you, Stephen Hawking) allowed me to understand (or at least get close enough to understanding) about half of it; the other half flew right over my head.
That didn't really matter until about the last 15 minutes or so. And while I was left feeling confused, it was still a very enjoyable journey. Can't wait to see it a second time to see if more clicks into place.
