Review of Primary Colors (1998) by Nani V — 23 Nov 2008
Hilarious at times, and tragic at others, this is a very bold film in its portrayal of a campaign full of scandals and lies. John Travolta plays a character unlike any other character he's played in the best, a good-hearted politician who seems to care for the people, with such slimey soul. Emma Thompson plays the hard-brass wife. And Kathy Bates is among some of the best supporting characters.
I wondered how much pot this stirred during the Clinton administration.
