Review of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016) by James E — 06 Feb 2016

"So don't know how to critique this one. The movie is a comedy. It's pretty much a giant joke. I mean, It's freakin stupid. But it's kinda supposed to be. And it's not like say "Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters".

It kinda works. The actors play it straight which is amusing. Plot points don't make any sense. (Sophisticated zombies? Ok!) It's just not meant to be taken with any sense of seriousness whatsoever.

And unlike certain movies that claim to be this, this one at least has professionalism. If that's your thing? Go see it. If not? Don't go near it. Bottom line. Let this be sort of a last hurrah for the Zombie genre.
