Without making audiences slog through all the Austenverse elements from the book itself, This is a pretty decent adaptation of an already quirkily adapted story. It was exciting to match the book's pulse points to what was put into the movie, and the open ending allows for continuation of the story, be it with the next quirk classic version or a more original storyline.
