Review of Pride & Prejudice (2005) by Teena K — 03 Dec 2011
A terrific adaptation that seemed fresh and new despite being the umpteenth version. Part of the appeal is that of its leads: Keira Knightley and Matthew MacFadyen. Knightley, especially gives a career best performance.
Also watch out for Donald Sutherland, who quietly gives a hilarious performance as a father ,of 5 girls, and a husband, to a demanding wife, who wishes that maybe there be a son in the mix.
