Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Sampsa K — 19 Feb 2010
Pride and Glory attempts to resuscitate the age old cop movie genre with some classic family drama. It opens with an oddly edited double scene of sports event and crime assuring the viewer there will be testosterone.
With that promise it then takes its sweet time to build up a decent story. In the end, if youâ??ve invested enough focus to the film, it rewards you with a neat closed-ended story. If you live for the boys in blue, you might enjoy this just as was as an episode of The Shield.
