Review of Pride and Glory (2008) by Chris S — 18 Apr 2010
Ok New York cop thriller with its biggest problem being Sidney Lumet has been here with Serpico and Prince of the City and William Freidkin with The French Connection.
The acting is pretty solid with Ed Norton being the best of a good bunch as the cop divided between his family and his job.
The main fault of the film is its length and pacing there are long lulls and after a while you find yourself wanting the pace to pick up a little bit.
Overall the film was ok but when youve seen this NewYork corrupt cops thing done in countless other films ,you do feel a little short changed.
A passable time killer nothing more nothing less.
