Review of Pride (2014) by Manofthemoon — 05 Jan 2015
Of course homophobes and right wingers will hate it, and yes it may be a somewhat Disneyesque retelling on the dark days of the British Miner's strike in the 1980, and it may shy away from truly revealing the levels of homophobia in the Thatcher years, but "Strike" is a well-told, well played and made story with moments that are genuinely touching and well worth a view.
A feel good story that rings true in the modern world.
