This is a thoroughly enjoyable heart warming British comedy in the spirit of Billy Elliot and Brassed Off. Based on a true story of an gay activists' support for the NUM during the eighties miners strike is is essentially a story of two opposite groups united through adversity.
A great cast of British character actors include a touchingly understated performance from Bill Nighy. I laughed anc cried in equal measure.
