Review of Pride (2014) by Tor M — 09 Apr 2015
Gay activists tries to help out miners during the well known strike of the National Union of Mineworkers back in the mid 80's. They meet some cool people and their chemistry is good. Things like this is not easy to go trough with without meeting loads of hate - from all angles. In this film it goes too easy too often in my opinion. Some speaches turn crowds and minor happenings turn hate to love easily.
With that said, it's a good film that has loads of warmth and moments. It's not especially funny, but it's never a boring watch.
