I bought this DVD because the romantic comedy was so cute. I enjoyed the French hotels and scenery. The idea that a young girl could obtain clothes, meals, and a hotel room by pretending to love older men, was silly fun.
The hotel worker was cute and sweet, and very likeable. The older woman was attractive, but somewhat demanding. It plays up the idea of gift giving as part of romance. Audrey Tautou's beauty and charm in this movie makes the film enjoyable.
The drinking I could do without, but I guess this is french afterall.
