Amusing, cynical, and as light as Audrey Tautou's wispy cocktail dresses. Her Irene, and Gad Elmaleh's hangdog and smitten Jean, seem like a study in contrasts--at first. The soundtrack and longer, uninterrupted shots add a breezy 1960s feel.
