Why is Pretty Woman one of the best rom-coms ever made? Because I'm a hopeless romantic and because Julia Roberts and because Richard Gere. Because what could have been either cynical or cloyingly saccharine is instead real, sweet and straight-to-the-heart brilliant.
If you don't love Pretty Woman, you have no heart.
