Review of Pretty Woman (1990) by Lorena A — 16 Aug 2018

The acting is just amazing! I want to start off mentioning that Richard Gere and Julia Roberts were the ideal actors to interpret the movie, they brought the characters to life and even though the story itself has a pretty basic plot, their acting makes you stay until the end.

Now I see why people say this movie launched Julia Robert`s acting career, she is both talented and beautiful.

Although the story is the typical movie about a poor girl meeting a rich man, it has great lessons during the film and has you wishing something like that or similar would happen to you.

I love atmosphere of the movie, from the low class neighborhoods to Rodeo Drive, the lighting and the takes make the film rise up to it`s full potential.

Although I had low expectations for the film because I'm not used to watching rom-coms, this one has surprised me for the better, all I can say is that Garry Marshall and his cast did a great job.
