Review of Pretty in Pink (1986) by Jacob D — 06 Jul 2012

I am a Hughes fan, even though I've only seen "Day Off" however it's one of my all time favorites, so I'm more than willing to watch anything he has something to do with. "Pretty In Pink" first approached me by way of it being my mother's favorite film.

So, I sat and watched, and watched, and watched, and enjoyed, and enjoyed. While it's nowhere near perfect, 'Pink' is definatly a teen movie, one that is fun to watch and fun to enjoy. It has some hitches like the infamous ending, and almost all of them are redeemed, because of Duckie being.

.....Duckie. The music used is top notch and only adds to the fact that this is a definate teen flick. While it may not be flawless, 'Pretty In Pink' is definatly pretty........and the box is pink so, in pink.
