Review of Premonition (2007) by Amelita A — 20 Jun 2010
Incredibly bland "Thriller" starring Sandra Bullock as a woman has a kind of premonition foretelling the death of her husband. In reality she seems to jump from one timeline to another on a number of occasions so how exactly it can be called a premonition I'm not sure. Once she becomes aware of the implications of what's happening to her, she begins to process of trying to save her husband. Throw an infidelity plotline and you have your film.
Sadly for us there is nothing at all thrilling here, there is a total lack of tension and suspense, the plot is far too muddled for the first hour and bar the untypical Hollywood ending there is just nothing of note to be seen. The dialogue, acting, direction etc is all good it's just that the plot is far too boring and will leave you wondering just when the film is going to end.
Not worth your time.
