Review of Predator 2 (1990) by Kyle L — 12 Nov 2009
Predator wreaked havoc in the jungle and struck box-office gold, so Hollywood now decided that Predator 2 should raise hell in the big, bad city of Los Angeles. That's right - it's a near-future L.
A. in 1997, the never-ending battleground of street gangs and drug lords. And in the middle of the battle is the familiar extraterrestrial villain who lives to hunt its victims and is protected by an invisibility cloak.
Though Schwarzenegger didn't return for this action-packed sequel, our newest hero - Danny Glover - is a cop who defies a government goon to fight the city's crime; his acting performance is as good as his predecessor's.
And so does this film...I like it! Yes, I know there is a Alien vs. Predator crossover franchise, but I hear there's going to be a Predators coming to theaters in 2010, and it could be better than this one.
