Review of Predator 2 (1990) by Duncan L — 10 Aug 2010
Where sequels are concern, Predator 2 did a bit much but no better than the original. Directed by Stephen Hopkins, the sequel now features the Predator hunting in a concrete jungle of the near future. Where crime is an all time high, the Predator have all the time to take trophies home.
.. unless Detective Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) stops the hunting. While the idea is pretty good, the pacing of the film seems to slow down and the action is tone down to nothing much less enjoyable. Still, fans of Predator still enjoys it even though it does feel a little bit long.
