Review of Predator 2 (1990) by Mark B — 29 Mar 2015
Really not as bad as we all maybe remember it. That's not to say it's good or ANYWHERE near the pulply comicbook sci-fi noir of the immortal first, but there's fun stuff in here (Danny Glover, Gary Busey & Bill Paxton hamming it up hard, the crazy Jamaican street gang, some pretty grisly deaths and a fairly cool ending), but it feels rushed and lacks all the finesse and swagger of the first.
Still FAR better than either AVP films and on that same "meh" level as "Predators"...
