I must say I was left a little disappointed by Precious. I expected so much more. It's certainly a gritty story and is pretty horrifying to be honest. But it just seemed to lack something. It's really hard for me to put my finger on it.
I know a lot of people done backflips for this movie and I can see why but it just didnâ(TM)t tick all the boxes for me. Some good performances from all the cast and maybe the only time I shall say something nice about Mariah Carey but she wasnâ(TM)t dolled up or made to look like the âSuperstarâ? she isâ¦In fact she looked pretty rough but that adds to her characters story and the tough job she does.
All in all a decent movie but not the knockout I was expecting.
