A very powerful movie with very strong acting that truly makes you feel for the two main characters. What could have been a very over-the-top soap opera feel, Lee Daniels makes it very simple, strong, and honest to get the correct feelings out of the audience.
I highly enjoyed the dream sequences as well. Who knew a movie with Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey would be so wonderfully acted and touching.
