So rare does a Films come along and provoke us to Re-evaluate how we take life for granted.
Everyone complains about how depressing and miserable the storyline is... for me I saw Hope, a light on the other side of the tunnel...
Precious is a film that's hard to define or sum up in a sentence. Unknown College Student Gabourey Sidibe experienced fate when she spontaneously applied for the part of Precious (An instantly won the hearts of the Auditioners). With no past experience of acting and a close to normal life she found her darkside to prove us otherwise. Oprah who praised her for being a full figured actress with no reservations to being happy, she exudes what most wemon search their lives for: Self acceptance.
