Besides Mo'Nique as the nasty mother, I really was kind of bored with this movie. Sidibe is not a very good actress and she really played the kind of person I cannot stand in real life. There really isn't much to anything in here that isn't a downer.
And that speech from the trailer where Patton says she believes in Precious is totally stupid. She barely knows her and she's going on like this girl is so inspiring.
