Review of Prayers for Bobby (2009) by Corrie F — 29 Nov 2011
Best made for TV movie I have ever seen. Brings up very important and relevant topics in today's society. Blind faith is a very dangerous thing. The true story of Bobby Griffith, a gay 21 year old, who kills himself after his divout catholic mom tries to "fix" him through god.
The second half shows the change in the mother and how she becomes a activist for human rights and gay rights. Easily one of my favorite movies to date and a must see for parents with gay children and every one alike.
Defiantly 5/5.
